Thank you for the design services for the Lobby Renovation at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters. The Lobby has become a focal point for all who enter the building due to your creativity, determination to “get things right” and patience. The Lobby Renovation became a very involved project and I sincerely appreciate the service INNOVATE Architecture and Interiors provided.
Aside from my appreciation, I also wanted to thank you on behalf of the children who enjoy the new drop off area and lobby each and every day. Because of the new drop off, families are able to drop their loved ones off at the entrance without regard for weather. In the lobby, it is not unusual to see children in awe as they look at the fish hanging from the ceiling or try to swim with the fish in the interactive display. With the colors, artwork and interactive fish display, children have a breathtaking experience that takes their minds temporarily off the challenges that may have delivered them to the hospital.

The design for the new suite for Smithfield Family Practice resulted in a beautiful and cohesive space that is patient focused. The design team integrated the practice’s needs with a strong concept resulting in a space that is very efficient from a staff and patient perspective and also vibrant and dynamic.
Once the space was fully complete, everyone was able to really appreciate how the finish selections worked with the shape and layout of the space. The color scheme is very inviting and the artwork and accessories help support the overall theme. Both patients and staff have shared many positive comments about the new suite as it has truly enhanced the experiences of those that utilize the space. The design firm did an excellent job and we at Sentara Medical Group look forward to working with them on future projects.

I wanted to extend a... HUGE thank you. I went to see the renovations yesterday and was duly impressed. What an amazing
transformation. I love the flooring in the waiting area, so much cleaner, and the bright lighting and
color scheme is beautiful. What a great impression this will make on our parents and patients. The
staff is thrilled with their new workspace. I know this took a concerted team effort to get done in
